Rain forces cancellation of the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Cornwall Motor Speedway!
Cornwall, Ont – Sunday, July 28, 2013 – Martin Bélanger – The World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Series was scheduled to be at Cornwall Motor Speedway tonight but Mother Nature had other plans as rain precipitations started to fall in the middle of the afternoon and forced promoter Ron Morin to cancel the race program.
Unfortunately because of the extensive World of Outlaws Sprint Car schedule, the race will not be postponed; with over 80 races planned for 2013, it was impossible to have them travel back to Canada.
Action resumes next Sunday with the 2nd race of the Canadian Nationals as the Modifieds will have a 100-lap event. The Sportsman, Pro-Stock and Mini-Stock will also be on the schedule. The Semi-Pro will have the night off.
