Delaware on 2007 MAARA Schedule

Here is the tentative 2007 MAARA Late Model schedule:

May 26 - Lake Erie (PA)
June 16 - Jennerstown (PA)
June 22 - Motordrome (PA)
June 30 - Holland (NY)
July 14- Adirondack (NY)
August 4 - Jennerstown (PA)
August 10 - Motordrome (PA)
September 1 - Holland (NY)
September 2 - Delaware (ON)
September 22 - Lancaster (NY)

In 2006, most MAARA races were 100 laps.

Interesting mix....I'd expect to see a format change for the APC 300, but I wouldn't expect it to be shortened to 100 laps....It'll be interesting to see if anyone other than Pete Vanderwyst and Cole Pearn go after the full MAARA schedule next year. I doubt most guys have the sponsorship to do it (market-wise and financially) but I can 4 or 5 doing it. As long as the schedule doesn't go against the Friday night shows at Delaware, I'm all for it...

I wouldn't be concerned about it taking away from too many Friday nites...I'd think that aside from a couple of teams, that schedule may be a little too $$$ for most. Some of those tracks are pretty close, but a couple of them really aren't. And the ones that are close, well, thats the night you have the sprints/vintages/whatever in.

I'm thinking the APC 300 just got a lot more interesting though!

True enough, but it'll still make the APC 300 much more interesting. As much as it doesn't make sense, more cars showing up for a race somewhere seems to draw out even more cars. Combine this with the possible return of the ALSTAR series, the ASA LM race at Cayuga and possible rumblings of ACT at Kawartha and next summer already looks better...
