Renovations

I saw today all day they were doing something around the tech garage... In which I saw on Saturday they had all the lights and such down back there also. Just wondering what they are doing :p

What you saw is the light post that goes where the Safety truck parks on the back stretch at the pit entrance. Ever since the J-car knocked it over a couple years ago, it hasn't sat right. So, they're fixing it.  don't get your hopes up.

the tech people have been a problem for a long time. i like what manny and justin are doing with the spivaks but the tech attitude and methods are a real negative.

You don't honestly expect him to name any names, do you? Anyone can sit on the outside, pointing fingers, he-saiding, they-saiding, spreading rumors. But name a name? Or substantiate an accusation with facts?

Sure, leon mister attitude has in the past teched mods and then gave the setup info to a friend, condecending attitude and has favourites for teardowns for the season and is hellbent on creating issues.
Timmermans so smug tails around with leon has an attitude three times his belt size and acts basically as a henchman.
Examples let's start with saturdays sudden ss meeting because they didn't like the fact that the engine mounts bought out of a catalogue and on a large numbers of the cars was suddenly an issue because they have a slotted hole do they honestly think someone is moving it during the night and if its an issue just measure location the slot only makes it easier to line up the correct location if the placement of the hole is not perfect but this necessitated a meeting at practice to form a decision that washers must be welded onto the mounts to keep them in place when stock location is still stock location. The rule about all bars touching the main cage being a min size which sounds good until any extra bar not even req'd that you may have now was to be cut out and made to meet this or cut out and left out. How about the rs door bar rules the door is all the way over there why so much req'd midgets have the frame dead next to the driver and have less but they won't even accept what other tracks accept.
Is that good enough?

Not really... i do like the bio on the big guy as i never knew who he was...maybe a candidate for the subway job? LOL...

It for the most part sounds like a lot of sour grapes over to many spilled pops.. or ???

bottom line is if you don't like the play ground, and management won't listen to or act upon LIGITEMENT issues then move on... there are many tracks within four hours who would welcome you.

Don't worry I drive right past delaware many times a year to go to other tracks with other cars but there are times that I need to stay close to home and on those occassions whether I am a maschist at heart or its just the fact that as a child I went to delaware with my dad all the time I go there and with the positive changes that are being made there is improvement but if nothing is said no changes can occur
