September 2, 2009 - Saskatoon, SK – It is the Playoffs – Points Finals at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway. Start your engines for this weekend’s racing action.
The fans at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway will see some intense door-to-door, no holding back racing as the drivers are all out for the checkered flag.
In the Bobcat of Saskatoon Super Trucks Racing Series the fight for top spot is very tight. Saskatoon Super Truck driver, Trent Seidel, leads the pack by a narrow margin of 14 points, followed by Jamie McClennan of Wainwright, AB and Wade Lee of Calgary, AB. They are seeking the grand prize for the series, a trip to Martinsville, Virginia in October to attend NASCAR weekend.
The championship is also on the line for the SKL Trailers Pro Trucks, as well as some cash incentives for the drivers.
Also racing this weekend are the Tiger Automotive Street Stocks in their second last race of the season. The Siemens Western Elite StockCar Tour returns this weekend in the Express Foods 125 (the twin feature races).
Gates open at 5:00 PM and racing starts at 6:00 PM. Tickets are available at all Mac’s Stores in Saskatoon and Prince Albert.
