Kevin, you should post the serial # of the crate engine online. Maybe even email it to all tracks that allow the crate engine so that they would have it on file.

Hope everything works out.

Thieves Steal Mid West Motorsports Engine and Parts (April 30, 2008)
Kevin Kozak, owner of Mid West Motorsports and the #3 Siemens Western Elite car driven last season by Nathan Weenk, reports that this past weekend his garage was broken into and thieves made off with a brand new GM 604 crate mortor. Also taken were a 3 speed transmission for the race car, a Howe aluminum radiator, an electric fan for the rad, a brand new crane ignition box and wire connector kit, breather box for the carburetor and its cover and filter for the carb. Unfortunately for the thieves they returned in the evening for more and were caught by the Saskatoon City Police.

Kozak asks racers to let him know if they see posting for any of the items mentioned above as they may well belong to Mid West Motorsports. "We can only afford so much, and most of the itmes stolen were new purchase this year to meet the new rules and make us a bit more competitive." Kozak can be reached by email kkozak@midwestcombustion.com
