Time is ticking away, and still no responce from the OSS, as i have emailed them asking, if there is going to be a 6th race or not..... I'm starting to get a little upset, plans have to be made, any info IS GREATLY APPRECIATED if there is any

The Sept.1 date is up in the air and things need to be addressed to what we are doing.
Delaware wants the show, but Cayuga is up for the date if they want it, although rumors are running wild that Cayuga may cancell all of the racing for Sept. 1, including the Nasacr Event, and again these are only rumors at this point as I have not been able to get in touch with anyone from Cayuga as of today.

I cant see Cayuga throwing in the towel already but my lead comes from a good source and I find it almost believable, but lets all hope its not.

I will advise when I get the info first hand.

Capital City Speedway - Ottawa...

MONSTER JAM on Sept 8th... Maybe something good to have OSS on Sunday... with some racecars from this area and/or Quebec province...

As promised I said I would ge back to all of you regarding the rumors of Cayuga Speedway.

I talked with one of the Owners today, and he confirmened the Sept. 1 date is on the schedule.
The NASCAR CTS race and the OSS deal is 100% a go.
With regards to the cancellation of several events at the Speedway it was done because of the lack of intreast, car count and support. If Cayuga is going to overcome its past of empty grand stands it is going to have to take a new focus on the racing format, what fans want, and what will bring in the biggest return, all points that I agree on.

Race fans need to stop bashing the deal and start endorsing the deal in order to keep the Speedway alive. If its such a concern to talk about loosing Canada's biggest Speedway, it should become a bigger concern on how to save it.
For the fans that show up regardless of rumors you get a 100% vote on loyallity to Motorsports in Canada. For the fans that sit here and type about it, and in most cases dont even intend on going to the track, its time you asked yourself-- am I a bench racer, or a true race fan.

The Sept 1st deal at Cayuga Speedway is going to be a great show, so get out of your lounge chair and come sit on some wood and support NASCAR, the OSS, and most importantly- Cayuga Speedway !!

if they raced on a sunday afternoon instead of a saturday nite against flamboro and merrittville, that would help.
