June 16 @ Cayuga...postponed

Got this in my email today from Cayuga.

Attention Fans:
 
Please be informed that the June 16 race is being postposed. 
 
We will update you on an alternate date as it becomes available. 
 
Do not discard of the ticket.  You may wish to transfer it to someone else if it takes place on a date where a race is already scheduled.  Basically, you will receive buy one - get one free.

I heard it was because of Michigan race.  Cayuga normally has a horrible crowd anytime a NASCAR race is at Michigan.  Cannot rival it.

There was a minor lack of communication as to this cayuga show. Most of the delaware teams that would have been involved in this show would love to run at cayuga. The reps from cayuga were at the drivers meeting last friday night and hopefully the show will be rescedualed at a later date. As one of the teams, we are looking forward to running at cayuga asap. Its also fathers day weekend as well as Michigan Nascar weekend.

they are for anyone, they are invitationals. Rules don't seem to matter anyways, if I had a sportsman car I'd bring it, o wait, I'd have to hang a nova body on it first

June 16: Cayuga Invitational featuring Trucks, Open Wheel, Streets (postponed)

That's the only one on the sched that actually lists Super/Street Stocks.

There's one listed as a Delaware LM invitational on Aug 25, and one listing LM, Truck, and OWM on the 8th of Sept. I'd imagine the Super Stocks might be rolled into one of those, but don't hold me to it.

I think though, if anyone actually had the cojones to have a big Thunder Car/Street Stock/Super Stock invitationals, with decent incentives for drivers to come, would probably be rewarded with a helluva show. I think that tier of racing is the most underrated one in Ontario.
