CanadianRacingOnline.com is getting ready for the 2015 Canadian Racing Season.
Do you go to the races and like taking photos and like talking with the drivers and teams?
How would you like to take photos and interview the drivers and teams?
Then we have something you are going to like.
CRO is looking for people to do the above for us as a Freelancer. What do you get out of it? We will contact the track and get you access to the races and pits, so you can take photos and talk to the drivers/teams.
Also you are contributing and sharing with the great racing community on CRO.
Here is what we need to know
Which races you will be attending.
The Canadian Track Name
First and Last Name
Full mailing address including phone. (This is needed to get your press credentials)
Please try and give us a 2-3 week window before the race you want to attend.
Here are some rules!
You must be 18 or older.
We require 20 Pictures min from each race event you attend.
You must follow the track and race rules.
You will be asked to sign a waiver to get your credentials at the track. You will use your name on these forms as,
You are a freelancing. If they require whom you are taking photos or interviews for as a freelancer say CanadianRacingOnline.com.
(CanadianRacingOnline.com will get you to send an email to us stating you understand that you are responsible for yourself while attending the races Read Below.)
I hereby release CanadianRacingOnline.com, its members, agents, employees, family members, successors or assigns, from any and all liability, claims demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, whether foreseen, arising out of or related in any way attending the races that may result in injury, death or property damage or loss or other damages to me or my family, estate, heirs, or assigns, and further to save and hold harmless CanadianRacingOnline.com, its members, agents, employees, landlord, successors or assigns, from all liability whatsoever for personal injury, property damage or loss or wrongful death caused by its negligence..
Some tips.
Be respectful to all drivers and teams.
Be respectful to other photographers (Meaning watch out when taking photos or talking to drivers/teams that you are not jumping in front of them while trying to get your pictures or interviews)
People we are looking for are people that take a lot of race photos either or enjoy interviewing drivers/teams. If you are a student and want to be a Sports Journalist. This would be great for you, as you would gain some real work experience and we would write a letter saying you did some freelancing for CanadianRacingOnline.com.
Some tracks provide wifi and you can send photos or interviews to CanadianRacingOnline.com via email. (Images you send to CanadianRacingOnline.com we can use these on our sites or for marketing purposes. Royalty Free. Not all images or interviews will be used)
You must send use the photo's 0-3 days after the races.
If you fail to send CanadianRacingOnline.com any photos or interviews you will be removed from any races we have got you credentials for and we will not allow you on our list again.
