Just wondering what those thought of the show. In my opinion, the racing was just ok, it's always great to see the Supers but where are all the cars? Without being exact, I think there were about 16 each of the Supers and Mods. I remember last year or 2 years ago, both classes were over 20 and closer to 25 even on opening day. Heat races with 4 or 5 cars doesn't set your heart a racin does it? In the Mods only about 8 finished. Chad Strawn claimed his first Oscaar win in this race; always great to see first time winners. A few more finished in the Supers with Jeff Hanley edging Dwayne Baker. I hope we see more cars out when the admission fees hit $25. I'm not complaining about the price to get in if the car counts are worthy of the cost. Just hoping we see more next time.

It would be awesome to see more cars, in fact it is very important for lots of reasons, the main one being fan appeal.     Maybe 2 heats of 8 cars would have been better, because we run double heats.

I understand not wanting to have too many cars in a heat (I assume the idea is to cut down on potential problems and make sure everyone makes the feature), but when half the night is watching 4 and 5 car heats, it really takes a lot of excitement out of the program, especially when a mechanical problem or two can quickly turn that into a 3 car race. I certainly would have preferred to see two 8 car heats.
