FOUR CYLINDER INVITATIONAL INFORMATION
« on: May 13, 2008, 09:57:46 AM »
Because many drivers from other tracks use these boards and may not normally log on to delawarespeedway.com I thought it might be a good step to post the information for our Four Cylinder Invitational on Saturday.  The original article can be found here: http://www.delawarespeedway.com/2008-09-12--FourCylinderInvitationalInformation.php

If it wasn't an 8 hour trip from Ottawa I'd consider heading down.....but alas too far.

Good luck with the show!

Delaware 4 cylinder Invitation a good idea .Hopefully it works out for you but by the sounds of the posts Saturdays is not good for O/T cars.Maybe you could take a look at running these Invitationals on a Friday as your regular shows consist of 3 groups and adding this Invitational would be no problem getting this in as your shows are done early (10:00-10:30 P.M.) This is a suggestion and this might just work.

If they ran it on a Friday night, how many would say "We'd come, but we can't risk tearing up our car since we're running for points on Saturday"?

If you guys want the best opportunity to get a full field ,you would be best to run on a sun. afternoon.

It'd be neat, but you'd have to have a ton of them guaranteed to show for it to be a success. You can't run 8-10 of them during your premier event and call it a success.
