That sounds a lot like the music from the opening sequence of Days of Thunder. Only thing missing was tendrils of mist rising off the pit grass as the sun rises behind the announce tower.

I think you need to fire up the opening of DOT again, because it's obviously been too long since you last watched it.   ;D

First time I've seen that. (That's how much TV I watch)

I'd have probably shown a little more "crowd going nuts" and a little less empty grandstand...but I do get what they were trying to do. Very cool.
