June 29th Schedule Question
« on: June 28, 2012, 10:29:38 PM »
According to the e-mail I just received from Delaware, the schedule for June 29th is:

7:30 pm Jesse's Journey Walk
8:00 pm Racing Begins

Demar Aggregates Trucks (Pair of 10-Lap Qualifiers)
FT Garage Late Models (Time Trials)
Demar Aggregates Trucks (35-Lap Feature Race)
FT Garage Late Models (Canada Day Sifton 100)

But when I follow the link in the e-mail to the Delaware web site, the schedule changes to:

Jesse’s Journey Walk: 7:00 pm
Time trials: 7:20 pm
Racing Begins: 8:00 pm

So...are time trials at 7:20 or is Jesse's Journey Walk at 7:30? Any help with the official schedule for Friday night would be appreciated.

The second one sounds more typical.

... But it is the first schedule on the list that will be the correct one moving into tomorrow.  Trying a slightly different timeline for the Canada Day events.  The website schedules have been updated.

Thanks John. That schedule goes better with the commute from Mississauga after work on the Friday of a long weekend!

So the time trials are part of the show.

I sorta like that idea!

There are lots of benefits to this schedule - - should be a great night tomorrow.  We'll see how the updated schedule works, and check the feedback after the event.

What is the curfew for the fireworks if you happen to get close to that time John?

We tend to avoid launching the fireworks after 11:00 pm.  If it looks like we're going to have a problem with that we will find a way to fire them off early.  I can't imagine running up against that tonight.

John, a few of questions regarding the 4 cyl. racing next friday:
What time do the pits open?
How much practice time can we expect?
How many laps is the feature? On the website one section says 25 laps and in another section it says 35 laps.
Thanks.
