« on: May 13, 2011, 05:47:44 PM »With every forecast showing rain/Thunderstorms at a 60-90% probability for Saturday and Sunday, it doesn't make sense to have people spend a bunch of money & time to tow to GBS to sit in the rain and then tow home again. So this weekends race on the asphalt has now been moved to the June 18th rain date. So opening weekend will now be next weekend Sat May 21st. (We cancelled the weekend at the dragstrip as well).
At our meeting it was decided we would not make a final determination until Sat at 5pm, but in this case with these forecasts we wanted to save everyone the time and expense from the outset. Hopefully the dry hot summer that has been predicted for this year will be because of the excess rain we have received this spring. See you next weekend.
