Tuesday July 28th at Tillsonburg Speedway belonged to Devin Jarvis.
Jarvis was able to start fourth in all three of his events, take the lead early, and hold on for checkered flags in his heat and both the features.
When told he had a good night later on the in evening, the youngster just giggled, smiled, and ordered an ice cream.
The driver was also pounding the pavement in Grand Bend on Sunday, and rode his double duty momentum and won all three events by a minimum of a straightaway.
Main championship combatants, Dylan Chesterman had decent evening, finishing on the podium in every race, and put on the most thrilling display of racing for the night as he and Conner Mahony traded second-place five times in three laps. Cass March slid a little further back in the points as their experimental setup didn't produce the desired results.
In the Juniors, D.J. McRae was able to win heat one and the second main, but in the first main it was Cinderella story Blake Westman that captured his first checkered flag of the season. Dylan Doerr also made a strong showing, as he posted a solid fourth-place run in just his third event as a Junior.
The ‘Dorchester Dart’ Holly Porter won race number one for the Experts, and Scott Chesterman, who is undefeated at Wonderland Speedway this year, won the second feature.
The Juniors put on another strong showing, with Hannah Ferrell, D.J. Christie, and Jayven March all running strong throughout the night. Darien Prout also arrived tonight in just his third start at the track, leading a large number of laps.
The Tillsonburg Indoor Speedway will get one week off as the drivers travel to Merrittville Wednesday August fifth.
Action resumes at the only track with a 100% no rainout guarantee Tuesday, August 11th.
