I didn't realize until tonight when we were reviewing his website that they had been penalized a lap in Mexico.  When we were watching we wondered what happened.  (ran over the air hose)
I'm sure his guys felt awful...they want to be successful just as much as he does.  Fortunately they still finished solidly thanks to the LD rule.

WOW, was DJ doing really good!!! Still a very good showing on his talent. I noticed on some pictures on hotlap.com that there were some crew members wearing UPS pit crew gear. This probably helped him alot in the pits i would imagine. Well off to short track racing--Go get 'em DJ!!

Just saw that DJ goes out first in qualifying today.  At least he's already in the show, but hopefully he'll get a good lap for pit selection.
It's just tough going out so early.
