The ``Greatest Show On DIRT`` the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars at Cornwall Motor Speedway this Sunday!

 

Cornwall, Ont – Friday, July 26, 2013 – Martin Bélanger – ``The Greatest Show on DIRT`` will hit Cornwall Motor Speedway this Sunday evening as the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will be in action on LKQ Headline Auto Night along with the Modifieds and Lightning Sprints.

 

The fastest cars on DIRT will hit Ron Morin`s complex this Sunday evening with the second visit of the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars. All the big stars of the series will be in town as point`s leader Daryn Pittman will lead the way along with last year`s winner and hottest driver on the circuit, Donny Schatz, Paul McMahan, Craig Dollansky, Sammy Swindell, Joey Saldana, David Gravel, Cody Darrah, Steve Kinser, Chad Kemenah, Kerry Madsen, Jason Sides and Kraig Kinser. Record holder Kerry Madsen will try to beat his mark of 10.24 second around the quarter mile bullring.

 

A 40-lap event is on the card of these spectacular sprint cars as the winner will leave the speedway with $10,000 in his pockets.

 

The Jiffy Auto Services Modified will join the ranks with a 30-lap feature race, Luke Whitteker is the new point`s leader as Mario Clair and Chris Raabe are sharing the second place 14 points behind Whitteker. Stephane Lafrance and Kayle Robidoux are rounding out the top 5. Only 39 points separates the top 8 drivers in the point`s title.

 

The Lightning Sprints will make their annual visit at Cornwall, these small scale Sprint Car are always entertaining to watch as over 25 cars will make the haul to Cornwall for the 25-lap feature race.

 

Pit gates will open at 3:00pm with presale ticket holder being able to get in at 3:30pm in general admission. The main gate will open for everyone at 4pm. Racing will start at 7pm. The admission will be 45$ for adults, 25$ for Senior of 65 years old and up and children 18 years and under will be 10$. Pit admission will be $55.
