The Ultimate Pro-Stock Series back to life this weekend Autodrome Granby and RPM Speedway!
Cornwall, Ontario – Wednesday, July 1, 2015, Martin Bélanger, Ultimate Pro-Stock Series Coordinator – The Ultimate Pro-Stock Series will back in action this coming weekend with stops on Quebec soil at Autodrome Granby on Friday, July 3rd and the following night at RPM Speedway.
A great mix of Quebec and Ontario drivers completes the top 10 so far in the points standing so far as Jocelyn Roy will lead the way with a slim 4-point lead over Ghislain Valade after 4 feature races so far completed in the Series. Stephane Lebrun has a 20-point deficit from Roy as Dave Bissonnette and Stephane Lemire completes the top 5. Less than 30 points separates the top 5. Winner of both events at RPM in early June, Rock Aubin comes in 6th place after suffering issues in Cornwall during the initial event.
A total of 3 feature races are scheduled for this weekend with twin 25-lap events at Autodrome Granby and a 50-lap race at RPM as the small bullring will also host a DIRTcar Pro-Stock Series at the same time as the Ultimate Series. A few extra drivers will join the field for the weekend because of this event.
A change in one of the rules was completed concerning the position inversion between both 25-lap events, instead of inverting all cars on the lead lap, only the top 12 positions will be part of the inversion.
A busy weekend ahead for the Pro-Stock with important events at Granby and RPM. Be there!
