"They" all say the track needs resurfacing so why not go all the way??!! I truly believe it would work from a market viewpoint. It is a two hour drive from the Barrie area to any dirt track in any direction. A decent track in this area north of T.O. would complete a link in a great dirt circut and I think would have zero trouble attracting an audience. Car counts wouldn't likely be a problem either. I suppose there could be the risk of affecting counts elsewhere, but dirt is clearly on an upward growth path so it may well take care of itself. All that and a dirt/pavement rivalry just makes more sense than what we've had all these years.
