USA International to be shut down this weekend.

Just got a message from a Hooters cup team member I email with that after this Sat;s event, the Lakeland Florida track will be closing. Construction begins next week to replace the 3/4 mile track with a warehousing operation. Hopefully this is not the beginning of a trend . >:(

its a shame, speedfest is such an awesome event and gets such great car counts, hopefully another Orlando area track can step up for Speedfest 2009. Ocala, maybe?
