THANK YOU to , Arland, Jeff Wilcox and the entire Delaware staff!!
southernsponsor:
The A&W Racing team and myself would like to thank Arland and Jeff for a great week. We showed up on thursday and got the royal treatment from the Delaware staff, this was not only the great night of racing, but the vip tour of the "Steve Plunkett" Country Cruise in on Thursday and the VIP lounge access for the Sprint Car/modified show on friday night. Also a huge cudos to the fans that attended the weekends events, I can now see why this place is considered the "heart" of stock car racing in Canada. I can only hope that we have this place on the schedule for at least one race again next year.
I hope ya'll got a root beer at the autograph session, if not...make sure you come get one next time!!!
We obviously did not get the finish we had worked so hard for and essentially deserved last night, i have to see the tape before I make any comments, but like i said last night " I think i will hold off on going to Timmys for a while"!!!!
For my first visit to this great character filled racing facility and its fans, i give it two thumbs up and cant wait to go back!!!!!! Cheers Jason White #21 A&W Impala

Yes it was a great night of racing and the Diet A&W Root Beer was great never tried it before. As I said in my post last night the fans were cheering for you and booing the 23 car.
I hope they come there a couple of times next year as it was a great track and you get a lot of great fans supporting the track and the drivers.
I hope you didn't get to much of a year full from NASCAR. It is great to see drivers with some emotions and saying how they feel. Lap cars seem to be a problem I noticed even when I went to CASCAR races.
Why can't let the lead lap cars race and just move out of the way? I can see if they are battling the leaders not to get lapped but once the leader passes you move out of the way. Battle the other lap down cars for the lucky dog but not the lead lap cars.

Jason, like I said on another thread I don't know how you didn't hit anything!! I've seen figure skaters spin slower! LOL. Great drive though and I also mentioned that I don't think you would have needed the field to crash in order for you to have won as someone else mentioned on here;)

B.A.R.:
I did not make it to the race, although I heard it was a good crowd and thats great5 for the folks at Delaware. I was surprised only 21 cars showed up though as I figured at least 40 for this event as it will more then likely be the biggest show of the year.
Sorry to hear that PaPA Bear got crashed out and I was really hoping to see him get a shot at running up front, regardless of my joke about everyone crashing and giving someone new a shot at a win !!! Maybe next time Jason....Keep up the drive !!
I talked to a bunch of people that went and they said the race itself was a 5 out of 10 and most folks were disapointed that only 6 cars were on the lead lap and very little cars were running any type of speed at the end, although it was great to see DJ win at Delaware.
In closing.... I had the best hamburg of my life last week... and it was from A&W !!
Teen Burgers on sale.... 2 for $6.00 and by far the best burgers I have had in a long time.... no wonder Jason is always bragging about how good they are....
They were so good they made me a new fan out of me and I promise to cheer for the 21 Car if he can work me out a deal on free A&W Burgers for life !!!

He can give you free coffee. He did well and that is all I'm going to say knock him all you want he was running upfront and if it wasn't for a lapped car he would have been on the podium.
