While we're at it, I heard (on good authority) that Tom Walters is going to join the series next year with Pepsi backing!

NASCAR is about making money. They make their money selling advertising from sponsors. If the series is not attracting sponsors which its not, why would they invest more money in it? Not going to happen. You don't make it in business being a nice guy.

quite right but you also dont make it in business if you do not have a decent product and if half of what BAR says is true the series is in trouble.

i was looking at the camping world series payouts and other than the big 3 nascar series it appears that the canadian tire series payout is in line with the others or even a bit more..at least by judging from the standings..

don't get me wrong it's peanuts in the grand scheme but i was surprised the camping world series pays squat too

Perfect comment there dodgeguy. It seems like every couple of months that rumour is brought up and nothing ever happens.

My question to you B.A.R. is why put Dave Connelly on the list? You mentioned it was 6 of the top 10 teams and yet Dave is listed in 34th because he has only ran 2 events. I'm starting to see holes in your theory.
