While many of the teams he raced against during the 2017 season have already started to think about their plans for next year, there are still at least 3 events remaining on Bobby Herrington’s calendar. The Elginburg, Ontario native is getting his #25 TEO Pro Car machine ready for a hat-trick of satellite shows in Central New York during Super Dirt Week.
After finishing 3rd at the Applefest Shootout – Saturday, September 23rd in a field of 28 starters with 75 laps on the table on an unfamiliar track – at Brighton Speedway, Herrington and his crew will load-up for Mr. DIRTcar 358 Modified Championship Trail shows Tuesday, October 3rd at Utica Rome Speedway, the next night at Weedsport and wrap-up the tour of 3 dates in as many nights Thursday, October 5th at Brewerton Speedway. The 26 year-old says it will be an interesting adventure.
“In most cases, we come back home to Kingston in between races; but once we get down there, it’ll be our home base,” Bobby Herrington said. “Our team has always been one of the best prepared on the tour and we’ll be taking everything we need to keep the car on the track and in the show. Even if that means some late nights putting things back together under some less than typical conditions.”
