And prince, agree with your assessment of AC and it's total lack of organization and the idiot on the stand. The 3 and out rule is brutal as well. Morgan got spun out of the top 5 on two seperate occassions but because he spun the 16 early, the second time he was taken out he was dq'd. If you cause 3 cautions fine but with this system you can get spun out 3 times and get dq'd. Only one of Morgans cautions was his fault. Some others were hit by this rule as well. Poor Shane Gowen was parked after 14 laps. He didn't cause his three but was at the wrong place at the wrong time and was collected. Doubt he'll ever be back. I heard that from a number of drivers as well. The flagging and scoring at this event has been a joke for years but tonite seemed to be the worst yet. I'd like to thank the drivers, crews and fans for a great show but after 17 years the track should be able to run this a bit better. How many times did someone have to run through the puddle in turn 4 before they cleaned it up. I guess the 7 LONG cautions to clean the mess up wasn't enough. The puddle is still there. And a great idea to speed up next years show is to chain the flagman to the stand. Why does he have to walk all the way to the backstretch to check a fluid mark on the track. Can he not use his f' n radio? I think I heard the most negative comments from both drivers and fans about his wandering. All that said, I'll definately be back next year to watch the great racing, despite the best efforts of the track to push me away. The car may be staying in the shed though. >:( >:( >:(

I actually though today went a bit smoother then some previous years, although still had a few hiccups.

The worst decision ever was leaving that Thunder STOPED comming out of turn-4 on the final lap and not throwing a yellow?!?!

I actually thought Bob stayed put a lot more then other years haha.

The 3 strike rule needs to be reevaluated forsure...

Brandon Watson, what eles is there to say..... amazing drive from that kid today.

TC wreck was huge, from my count 19 cars at least had some damage from it,  Nic Roth starting outside front row....got loose out of turn 4....ended up getting sideways banging off the car on the inside...and hammering the outside wall....and then the pile-up was on, as basically the rest of the field just waded up on the front stretch.

good job to doucette and ricky. i left half way through that race, really had to start the drive home. good racing today, but i have to say probably the most caution filled show I've ever seen. Sitting in the grandstand there was a light snow for about a minute :o.. wallace got dq'd in the minis for spinning the the 20 of hannah half way down the backstretch which resulted in the 22 of bob mercer SLAMMING hannah. good job to my bro for finishing 8th and winning the B in a field of dohc and 16 valve cars. #9 Watson by far the class of the LM and LLM fields, also fastest super late on the track, just not enough to get around hanley.

yea...I am okay...2 hard licks and 2 fairly hard licks. Props to Peter Schotanus...will never have a car welded by anyone else ever....

As for LM and TC, I will have the race vids up later..got a great view of the opening TC wreck..Roth didn't get into anyone...he over-corrected...like the guy who wrecked me Sat. night.

Well the 27 had damage to the right side door...so I just assume he must have hit him.

Even despite the huge wreck the TC feature it was probably the best of the day, had a couple long green runs, a good battle for the lead at the end.... and it was nice to see so many guys work hard to get the cars back on track.

I think the LM race was probably the worse of the day.... from my count 15-17 yellows...and 10 of thoses were in the first 50 laps, just numours spins and spins.... nobody could run the outside at all...it was just a train race with cars getting run into, it took over 2 hours.

The 3 strike rule is a joke..... it should be after you CAUSE 3 yellows.   and I think even if your directly spun 3 times, even though you didn't "cause" it.... there has to be a reason you got spun 3 times. but if an accident happens in front of you...and you end up in it, how can that be counted as a strike??? ??? ???    the rule needs to be looked at....and changed.
