CBC's Rick Mercer at Varney this weekend racing trains

Just read on the varney site that CBC's Rick Mercer from the comedy show Mercer Report will be filming at Varney and he is going to race in the train race. That should be a hoot. I think he is a bit egotistical myself, but he sure makes me laugh with some of the stupid things he tries. Nice way to get the track some all Canadian exposure.

Rick's pretty down to earth. I met him when he was in London doing some filming for his show. Pretty funny guy.
