Just a note to let you know that we've made some changes at Laird International Raceway. One of them is that we have switched our schedule up from Sunday afternoons to the familiar Thursday evenings. Our regular race nights for most of the remaining season will be on Thursday nights. Qualifying at 6:00, racing at 7:00 pm.
We also have some management changes. Starting last week, Gerry Liscumb Jr. has taken on the role of Director of Racing Operations. Gerry's first day on the job was last Sunday. He will be responsible for all parts of the race program and will oversee the track officials, drivers, and teams. Joining Gerry are Rita-Ann and Brad Slater as managers of Track Operations. Their duties will include the marketing and promotions, overseeing the concession and souvenir stands, and managing the main gate and grandstand areas.
Changes will be gradual.
Come and join us for some great racing competition on Thursday July 7th. Qualifying at 6, racing at 7.
