No - due to lack of sponsorship there. Though DEI did have their own Nationwide program planned for next year as they were going to run Jeffery - guess that's not happening. I wonder if they'll keep running Trevor & Jeffery in the East Series ???

Bobby Labonte was released by Petty Enterprises... another non-sponsorship deal... And Petty Enterprises is barely treading water anyways...

Bobby Labonte has been looking for another ride maybe the 41 car.
Budweiser is getting less for their sponsorship $$$ with KK, in one report it said they only got 1/2 the "recognition dollar" that Jr got for them the year before, but Jr was down a bit in 2007 than in 2006.
Truex's contract has a clause saying that DEI has to have 2 teamates for him in Cup, and is another reason that DEI merged or they would have lost their biggest sponsor and number one driver.

To the following that thought I was full of B.S.
....You can now kiss my butt !!!

Everything I told you a month ago is just becoming news now.
I guess I know allot more then those that doubted me....

Watch for these news flashes...
*Evernham is 100% done
*Petty is 100% done
*Gannasi and DEi is a NASCAR plea bargin to staying alive...Nascar kisses Gannasi butt !!
*Nascar Canada may not take the green flag in 2009 as major cutbacks of dropping series is a number one priority with the future of Nascar.
*GM,Ford,Dodge get no goverment backing, thus are forced to announce a 100% pullout of Racing Support all together. Only factory backing for Nascar will be Toyota in 2009.
*Huge Schedule change coming down the pipe as Nascar will be dropping dates at several tracks.
*Talks are now on their way of allowing the top 41 cars to make a race will be based on speed and no longer past points. As well, the Chase program is very much in its closing stages as Nascar now realizes that by keeping the chase they could easily end up ending next season with car counts of less the 20 for thye final 12 races do to the money and sponsorship problems. The only provisionals will be awarded to the Championship Driver from the previous year, and or Team. By allowing the Team aspect, Nascar hopes to run with lessor Team Owners but higher Team car counts.
In short, get ready for a new series masde up of about 5 teams.
Again, to those that doubt what I have been saying for a long time....Kiss my buttocks !!

 Disrespectful to others, borderline language.

B.A.R,  you are hilarious!!!!!  You have all these bold predictions. Can you tell me what the lottery numbers are for this week.  It doesnt take a rocket scientist to predict  that stuff is going to change. the world is going to change bud.......newsflash.  Not just nascar,  and im sure you will be one of the ones  that frys them (nascar)  if the world ecomony  gets so bad that no one can race......hang them from the cross.   Do you get as passionate about the other aspects  of american  companys  coming to canada  and "taking"  all our money.  out here in the west,  you would be hard pressed to find an oil company that is even canadian owned anymore ,  now thats one that  not many of us hosers  can understand.   Quit makin it sound like  nascar is the big bad wolf,   if you dont like it.....dont bring your car out and race, that is your choice.  Now i am pretty confident i know who you are,  but 99%  of the other people  on this board  dont.  so dont tell people to kiss your butt,  unless your willing to step out and say your name.  other wise you look like a whiny little child  that sits behind a computer  and pops off.  grow up!!!  you are entitled to your opinion  but this is getting a little much bud.  #21  Jason White  Rookie Of the Year  2008  Nascar Canadian Tire Series

B.A.R, while I appreciate that you often have some insight into the goings on of NASCAR, your disrespect of others is not appreciated. Thanks Jason for bringing some much needed counterbalance to this thread.

B.A.R is warned for disrespectful behavior.

still hiding behind a key board.................see bar in this day and age, people have conversation on computers,  its no different than having a face to face conversation. its great, personally i use it to keep in touch,  geographically  its hard for me to stay in touch  so i chat with my friends on here. now lots of people are Nascar bashers and that is a matter of opionion,  i just dont understand why you continue to be involved if you hate it so much.  again i am pretty sure who you are, and have had good conversations with you at the track,   i could be wrong on your identity,  but if you continue to hide few will respect your opinion.  their was a reason why i signed off like i did last time, this time i wil sign off like this.  J W  2008 MOST SPORTSMAN like driver NCATS.......just wait about three years when i get to sign off as series champion!!!LOL lighten up dude and take the mask off so we can have real conversation......not just bashing....
