were when it was sold - he said he wasn't done yet,
but was trying to help Bill III.  He still has the trailer...

I'd like to see Zardo Sr. back in the drivers seat again . Sr. and Jr. Hanley were the ones that got me hooked on watching the Super Lates.

I hear you Jackman2007 - I remember when Bill Sr was starting out at
Pinecrest.  He was one of the backmarkers that I was always hoping
would pull off a big win.  Remember his win at Flamboro's ACT show
a bunch of years ago?  I think Jr was right behind him, but didn't get
by (if my memory is correct - i'll have to check out my old programs).
I do know that the stands were absolutely packed that night - right
down to the bottom row of benches.

Back to the question - does anyone know where the car is?

Hi Derek ! I remember one race at Peterborough where Sr. cartwheeled across the front chute about 5 times . I asked him the next time I spoke to him at Flamborough what was left ? His reply was that every bolt ahead of the firewall was either bent or broken . I thought for sure he was going to hit the starters stand that afternoon .

I missed that...
A few years back, when he rammed the wall at Flamboro, really hard,
he was talking to his family.  His comments were, 'don't worry,
race cars can be fixed.'  The car was flattend from about the mid
engine point forwards...  He made no comment about walking away
from that one, just talked about the car.
I once jumped off the pit wall at Cayuga, fell flat on my
face (gimpy knee), and Bill ran up from quite a bit away,
helped me up, saw I was still somewhat with-it, but really dazed
(wrecked my camera on that one) and said, don't worry,you're fine.
Classy guy.
