KUMPEN AND TINEO ARROYO LEAD THE FIELD
Seven Different Teams In The Top 10
Brands Hatch Circuit, UK - Anthony Kumpen (#24 PK Carsport Chevrolet SS) and Salvador Tineo Arroyo (#54 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) posted the fastest lap times in today’s practice sessions at Brands Hatch in the context of the fourth edition of the American SpeedFest.

The majority of the field set their best laps in the afternoon in the Final Practice session. Kumpen lapped the 1.2079-mile Indy Circuit in 48.604 seconds to lead the ELITE 1 field by .101 seconds over Frederic Gabillon (#3 Tepac RDV Compétition Ford Mustang). Alon Day (#54 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) ended up third leading the Junior “Jerome Sarran” Trophy and edging Marc Goossens (#90 Brass Racing Ford Mustang) – the Belgian led the first practice session – and Freddy Nordstrom (#44 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS).
Florian Renauer (#5 Dexwet Renauer Team Ford Mustang), Borja Garcia (#1 SPV Racing Ford Mustang), Bert Longin (#11 PK Carsport Chevrolet SS), Nicolò Rocca (#56 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) and Thomas Ferrando (#37 Knauf Racing Team Ford Mustang) completed a top-10 in which seven different teams were represented. Eric De Doncker (#98 Motorsport 98 Ford Mustang) led the Challenger Trophy in 13th place.
Salvador Tineo Arroyo (#54 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) was a mere 9 thousandths of a second faster than Thomas Ferrando (#37 Knauf Racing Team Ford Mustang) in the final practice session to top the ELITE 2 charts. Stienes Longin (#11 PK Carsport Chevrolet SS) and Gabriele Gardel (#24 PK Carsport Chevrolet SS) closely followed as the top-4 were separated by just .081 seconds. Martin Doubek (#5 Dexwet Renauer Team Ford Mustang) rounded out the top-5.
Roman Mavlanov (#88 DF1 Racing Team Chevrolet SS) was sixth fastest and led the Rookie Cup classification, besting Riccardo Geltrude (#7 Double-T by Nocentini Ford Mustang), Freddie Hunt (#66 DF1 Racing Team Chevrolet SS) and Eric De Doncker (#98 Motorsport 98 Ford Mustang), who led the Legend Trophy with his time from the first session. Guillaume Deflandre (#56 CAAL Racing Chevrolet SS) completed the ELITE 2 top-10, while Erika Monforte (#6 Double-T by Nocentini Ford Mustang) led the Lady Cup classification.
