Here is a prime example of why safety is at the top of my list even at little old Barrie Speedway

Fire is the worst, im all for having the best fire protection.

...........but Its for this reason as well, that I dont want all the other stuff around me.....

If this was a sprint cup car with all the head rests, hans, hoses, and tight confindes...that guy would be in more trouble.  Ive seen some of these super safe cars....and all I can think is ''what happens when its on its side on fire?  :(

Ive also never run lexan in the rear window, for the same reason.  If the only way out of your car is the drivers window, and its pressed up against another car with flames all around it, its gunna be bad news bears.  Im more affraid of fire then impact, to each his own.  jmo.

But good video!

and that's why all the track workers should be wearing fire suits... it shouldn't be another driver that helps you out of the car the safety workers should have first suits on so they can at least get close to the car to help you get out

That looked so scary I glad he was okay but safety gear is good but bad and if your driver side window is blocked and there's a fire then go out the passengers side or maybe someone should develop a quick release for your windshield so the driver presses a button or something and they can kick the windshield open or open it or what ever.
