2014 Track Update for Tillsonburg Outlaw Kart Series

Go away winter, it is time to talk racing. Summer racing that is.

Speculation generally runs high going into the season. After a few phone calls, this is what we know for the coming season.

24 Races over a 6 month window means there is a LOT of racing in Tillsonburg. It's little wonder our drivers develop so quickly. They race a lot.

The action starts in Beginner's where we actually get the kids racing in a class without too much pressure or congestion on the track.
We have enough drivers in this group to start but a couple more kids would be great. If you know of any aspiring young drivers, lets get them going this season.
Yes, they can start already when they are 4 but will turn 5 sometime during the season.

The Juniors have some new names to add to the group. We have Zack Kelley and John Jackson joining returning drivers, Tom Pellizzarri, Gabby Darling, Rayse Meyer, Aiden Maynard, Nick Sheridan, Eric McGlone, Paige Smith. That's a good start with  9 drivers in Junior.

There are some happy drivers in Senior to hear that reigning Champion, Bea Courtnage is moving up to Expert. That means the Senior class is up for grabs.
Even after Kate Courtnage moved out west and Curtis Schultz goes to Expert, this group is going to be the best race action ever with at least 9 full time racers and likely 3 part timers.
Colby Bennett, Scott Hall, Brad Perrott, John Smibert, Jacob Sheridan, Eric McGlone, Ty Freeman, Amber Meyer, and Oscar McCormack will be the majority of the group but we generally have a few surprise entries as the time gets closer..

I would also expect to see some Ohsweken regulars for the Spring Series before their track gets going in July. It makes sense to me anyway.

The Experts are also in pretty good shape despite team Kelly moving on. The addition of Bea Courtnage and Curtis Schultz quickly holds the class size from last year.

Currently we have used and new karts available for teams who wish to get a start in 2014.
