The latest forecast says only 40% chance of rain.

That's a vast improvement over what it said yesterday...hopefully it keeps improving!

For locals, Chris Ross from Wallaceburg and Adam Ferri from Port Colborne are both cars to watch in the Late Model race...

Also look for a new track record for Late Models in qualifying.  Track record is officially 16.0, but they were well into the 15's and closer to getting into the 14's when the rain came the night before.

I also expect a new all time track record to be set when the World of Outlaws Sprints are here in July.

Ken Pelkey was on Race Time Radio tonight and said first if that bad word rain happens the rain date would be Friday as for car counts they are looking at 35 cars showing up this includes the drivers of Dirt Late models from South Buxton. He said looks like top 15 in points will be there. He was saying plenty of good seats avaiable.Ken Schrader will be at Oshweken with an autograph session scheluded for 4:30 PM and hot laps at 6:30 PM and LM time trials @ 6:45 PM with race time at 8PM.He said car to watch out for is Wallaceburg Ontario Chris Ross. Also on the car as dirt Sprints. Should be a wild night for racing as these Late Models are a car to go watch.
