Jim Bowman Endures Issues at Flamboro Speedway's Gold Rush
After entering the Gold Rush with confidence following a solid test at Flamboro Speedway, things did not go how Power To Go Motorsports envisioned.
Qualifying 15th for the 100-lap event, he avoided an incident ahead of him in the early stages, moving up to the 11th position in the early stages. However, the problems began at Lap 15 as he'd drop back through the field, eventually heading pit side three laps later.
Bowman returned to the track under the first caution at Lap 20, moving into the 15th position with 77 laps to go. He'd continue to battle hard, though ultimately the issues sent him pit side once again on Lap 32, which would end his night prematurely. He would be credited with a 16th-place finish.
