I'm glad to see some people on here are not into tearing into Paul.

Hes been nothing but help to me, any questions I've had, hes answered them, and tips or tricks, hes given me a fair bit (hes not going to give away all), he still takes his own time to come over to my shop, and give me a hand when I ask.

He spends the time researching where it will help the truck or enduro go faster.

I spent time last summer at team 33's shop. Top notch owner, crew, driver and equipment. These guys work hard and do their homework, which make a winning combination.

thank you to everyone that is posting positive feedback about may father and the 33 team.

And Wesley_Motorsports you wrote "The cost to the race team is only their time to pull and reinstall the engine."
This is in fact not true as the team lost $150 in engine oil $50 in tranny oil header gaskets on both sides a tranny seal on the input shaft.
So to correct you it cost Sid around $300.

Sounds like a lot of time, money and effort to spend on an entry level division.

That's unfortunate that Delaware didn't pay for your other costs - particularly if the engine is in full compliance. The officials should take this into account. I know many race tracks do. The only part I can see not being 'covered' would be a tranny seal - since that would not have anything to do with an engine pull in most cases. Oil should be changed on a regular basis - so I can see why they wouldn't necessarily pay for that. Tranny fluid - I'd say they owe you for that.
