Throughout all of this I kept hearing terms used such as..."poopdisturbers" or "a few troublemakers" in regards to the Sunset board. The truth is it all arose from some people that race or watch the races there that were passionate and very concerned about their track.

It is a big step to hear Evan talk with the same passion we felt about our track about this board. It is also a big step to hear about positive things that can/will/might happen at Sunset this year. I am sure others feel like I do in that we will wait and see what happens but it sure helps that there was a cooling off period having the board taken down as it was not to mention that one person that created a lot of the poop is no longer in the loop.

Looking forward to a better season in 2009.

I have to admit I was disappointed in a twisted sort of way when you deleted the Sunset board as it was entertaining as H E double hockey sticks at times but I understand why you did it. I am also VERY impressed at how you have taken the high road and reinstated the board and taken some responsibility. Yet another reason why I like this forum. I am glad Sunset is back as part of the CRO family because that is where I was introduced to racing as a tot and doing a google on Sunset is how I found this board in the first place. + 100 Evan.

I didnt get a chance to listen tonight but I'm glad that u have buried the hatchet with the whole Sunset issue for a fresh start in 2009.
You want this site to be where people come to find out about racing at EVERY track. Myself, I think its ok to have opinions, but personal attacks should be deleted. But great to know I can come here to read what's going on at Sunset again.

It takes more energy to hate someone then just admit you are wrong or forgive someone.

Sunset is a part of racing and that is the reason I put the board back 2 or 3 days ago. I bet people didn't even notice it.

I have way better things to spend my energy on and that is getting a site sponsor and making the 10th year the best year of CRO.

It is the members that make the site not me I just keep it up and running.

+100 Evan. We are all human. It takes a real pearson to admit that they may have been wrong.  Your #1 in my book

Please Terry I do value peoples opinions but we have to do this in a professional manner and calling people names is not the way to do it.

The guy maybe felt strongly and made the call. He had the right to. Yes I felt it had to be to answer the question and sorry for cutting Joe off.

I honest about the whole thing and yes I did apologize to Wes on radio and I mean it.

It did get out of hand I will admit it. Was I to blame for it yes, I had a part and so did others but I have to take the full blame for it as it is my site and it got way out of control. It was something new to me.

One side is saying delete what they are saying then the other side is saying you are censoring our opinions. I'm at a loss.

If something like this happens again with a track or series will I handle it different yes I will but till that time comes and I hope it doesn't I can't say what I will do.

Let make the 10th year of CRO be the best one we have had to date and that is all I can wish for.

It was kind of cool when the guy called in to side track you, Joe was coming to your defence and you said "hey no problem l can answer the question".

Terry to be honnest Wes has gotten over it but I think others haven't and want to keep dragging it on. Which I feel doesn't help Sunset in anyway and you could turn around and say they are hurting the track they love so much.

I put the board back a couple of days a go so mention they don't have a forum was wrong. It went better then I thought it would and Bob & Joe are top notch guys and CRO will continue to promote them as the #1 Race Radio show. I listen to the show when Wes is on as I do care what he has to say and what is going on at sunset. I will even attend a race there. I won't ask for press passes as that is not right and I don't want to start anything.

I will say right now this message will not be used to bash Wes or the caller. He had his right to call in as did I when I called in.

Thanks Bob & Joe and yes it was a great Show Kevin from CPT was great (This is the show to check out) and as usual John from Delaware was great and I think I got to get out to Delaware and see a race there. John send me a PM and tell me which weekend is the best to come as I'm coming to Delaware.

I hope my spot didn't put people to sleep.

OK how was it. I was nervous. I'm used to doing the talking and asking questions and I knew a call would come it.
