I just read on Jayski.com that Carp is a potential candidate for the 21 Wood Bros Ford for 2009.

As incredible as this seems, the Cup race Sunday is now on ESPN, and TSN is only covering it on TSN2. Same for the Nationwide race on Sunday night.

The Nationwide Cars should be faster then the COT's at Richmond.
The Shorter Wheel base helps and the fact that they don't have that Green House Body.
Man it must be tough watering all those plants while racing, but then that was the idea to get past the boredom of racing a COT.
In the NASCAR Rule book it states under the COT mandated rule, page 55- paragraph 7.3367 at the top of the page. " At no time will a driver be relieved of his gardening duties while driving a Green House styled car. All Plants and Seedlings must be planted to the right of the driver, but still within reach for watering purposes. All plants must be grown in approved Nascar Dirt and Manure. Any driver caught eating his plants out of boredom during a Race will be given a 1 week penalty and a fine of $1,000,000.00.

Hey Duken, that would be awesome! I've been a Wood Bros fan since the Pearson days as you probably know. I thought they were grooming Jon for the ride, but I'd really be happy with Carpentier, they are supposedly gettign rid of all their old equipment and getting new stuff too! Hope it helps!

the actual statement was from Mr Wood himself and he said bascially , " we really like Patrick, he is available and we are interested " It didn't say if this would be a shared ride like this past few seasons have been or not and I would assume the sponsor $ comes into play as well. I think Pat has done well for himself for the most part this year .He  finished 25 th yesterday. New Hampshire next weekend hopefully will land him another front row start.

I e-mailed tsn, bell and nascar. Like that's gonna do any good. If enough people did do you think they would get it??  Bell will get TSN2 and package it up to get more dollars out of us. Maybe it's time to get the pirate dish.

I can honestly say that for the first time, I am impressed with Cogeco cable for having TSN 2 FOR FREE - I never had the TSN alternate channel before.  I still hate TSN for the Lilydale shit, though.

no TSN2 on roger's either.  If you go on the TSN website it does list who is carrying TSN2, doesn't seem like many stations.

TSN Nascar Canada. You would think they would put that Nascar on all the time

From what I was told a long time ago was TSN Paid NASCAR big buck for that title and TSN couldn't sell the commercials to make there money back.

It seems TSN has put Nascar on the back burner for many things like, Golf, CFL Football (Do people still watch it - Wendy's most likely gets a good bang for the buck), Curling?, Darts? Poker? ( How is a poker a sport? I guess you get a work out when you stand up and go all in with a pair of deuces in your hand).

I don't know about you but I watch the Nascar Race and I see the Lilydale commercial. Man that is too much work to get up and make some chicken. Subway maybe but their commercials over and over who cares about finding a damn monkey or the lobster.

Maybe TSN is trying to recoup money From the Nascar Canada money paid out and they are asking to much for stations to carry it.

I think TSN thought the had struck gold with the Nascar Canada deal and you would think they would have as what every Nascar touches turns to gold. ( For them at least) Canada is a different market then the US and Sponsors just hand over money because you have the Title Nascar Canada.

Who knows the true story just some thoughts.
