Just curious - maybe MidAmerica (or someone who was in the pits) can shed some light here...

When the cars came off the track (at Cayuga) after time trials, it appeared that they went straight to their pits or to pit lane. Is there no tech after time trials?

the cars are only pre-teched before practice and the top 5 after the race
