Author Topic: Ambrose racing at The Glen........For Robbie Gordon (Read 2664 times)

It's being reported that Marcos Ambrose will be racing at Watkins Glen in the Cup series this weekend in a second car entered by Robbie Gordon Motorsports. Apparently, Gordon is trying to make peace with this gesture. I find this ironic and funny. If it's true, good on Robbie for this move.

It still doesn't make up for the fact he cost Ambrose the win. But I guess he's feeling a bit guilty. Does this mean Robby has a conscience after all???

I would say Ambrose cost Robby the win. So I think this is the a way of giving Nascar the finger, and they deserve it.

I think that this is the classiest move Robbie Gordon has ever made, and he just elevated himself a little in my eyes. I especially like Ambrose stating this is just like a good game of Aussie football with a good fistfight and then everyone goes to the pub afterwards for a beer together. Have a strange feeling they will do real well at the Glen.

as hard as i bashed mr gordon i will now say this is a classy move on his part. aslo can anyone say woods-gordon racing in 08,may also be a smart move.

LMAO...looks like the racing gods did not agree with Ambrose's moves in montreal as qualifying got rained out and the field was set by owners points....Carpentier is in btw....

cro out here in the west a meteorologist is considered a moving target.lol. by the way i agree nascar got the finish they wanted for the tv veiwers,maybe they are right as we are just part of the unwashed masses.
