AUTUMN COLOURS CLASSIC
« on: October 02, 2006, 08:04:51 PM »
So does anyone have any information on what teams will be at Peterborough this weekend?  There haven't been very good fields there in any classes this season, so they'll be relying heavily on out of town cars. Usually a large contingent of Sunset Thunders and LLMs are on hand as well as some Sauble Pro Stocks, a few Mosport LLMs and Thunders and some Barrie cars. I'm assuming Tom Walters, Tim Ellis and Dwayne Baker will be there from Barrie and I believe John Gaunt usually comes as well. What about Steet Stocks, Mods and LM from Delaware and Super Street Stock, Mods and LLM from Varney? Any news of any drivers from anywhere so we have some idea who will be there. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and we'll see some great racing.

i no this isnt quite what you were looking for, but i will be there with a four fun.  we need 14 cars to run, hopefully all the peterborough cars show up, aswell as a few from sunset and a few from ottawa to get the 14.  some people may find them boring to watch, but sometimes they put on a better show then the llm's do. at sunset, we have run flag to flag at least 3 or 4 times this year.  anybody know how the four funs run up there? are they all real competitive or are they kinda spread out?

Wow!

Drove by Peterborough Speedway earlier today and there was already a few haulers lined up!  I did notice that one of them was Kirk Hooker's.

Should be an awesome weekend with great weather!

SO i wonder if Hooker has his Florida car with the four piston calipers and the high compression Florida motor that the Kawartha tech conveniently let pass yet there isnt a Late Model division anywhere in Southern Ontario that runs by those rules!
