That's awesome for Brandon.. Finishing 2nd to Elliott might get him a little notice down south one would think..

Brandon did great! considering it was probably the fastest high banked track he has raced on, and the fact that he came up through the field after starting 18th, too bad Elliott showed up for his first JEGS Tour Race!!!

Great run for Brandon who moved into 3rd place in the series standings with the finish. Eddie Hoffman leads over Erik Jones.

Chase has struggled so far this year in the heavier NASCAR East cars out of the Hendrick stable but he definitely has the winning LM combination with the GARC chassis and the Ricky Turner led crew. Elliott also won the weekend's CRA Super Series event. I remember other guys like Steward and Johnson who had a bit of transition getting into the heavier Nationwide cars. Lots of talent in that East series though and it will be hard to keep them all down there.
