Saskatoon, SK – Canada’s largest “steel bodied” street stock race “A&W Martensville 100, will be held at Auto Clearing Motor Speedway, Canada’s Fast Track, on June 21, 2008.
Clay Campbell, President, Martinsville Speedway, and Martinsville’s Mayor, Kimble Reynolds will be the official “Race Marshall’s” for this big race event.
Three years ago, the idea of creating Canada’s Largest Steel Bodied stock car race started, with the winner of the event going to Martinsville, VA for the NASCAR race weekend. The promotion of the two sister cities of Martensville, SK (bedroom community of Saskatoon, SK) and Martinsville, VA has been very successful and will continue to grow.
Last years winner, Wayne Osborne of Regina, is back to once again try his luck at winning a trip of a lifetime. Cars/drivers are expected from North and South Dakota, Montana and the Western provinces.
