2015 WOOLNER MEMORIAL AT FULL THROTTLE MOTOR SPEEDWAY:
OSCAAR and The Woolner Family are very excited to announce the premier OSCAAR Modified event will be returning to Full Throttle Motor Speedway in 2015. The past three years has seen this event grow to the largest paying modified event in Ontario and the 2015 event is going to be even bigger with a new twist.
OSCAAR, Gord Bennett, owner of Full Throttle Speedway and Julia Woolner Stewart have sat down and came up with an idea that will take this event to the next level for fans and drivers. The OSCAAR Modifieds are scheduled to race on the high banked ¼ mile oval on June 13th and September 12th in fifty lap events. So now the twist for 2015, the June 13th is going to be The Rick Woolner Memorial Part 1 and the September 12th will be Part 2, with the driver with the best overall finish from both events being crowned the 2015 Rick Woolner Memorial Champion.
Full Throttle Motor Speedway has a long history with the modified division and Rick raced and recorded many wins and championships there, so it only fitting to unveil this new format at this years’ event.
Over the past couple of years this event has attracted many dedicated lap sponsors and that tradition will continue for both events in 2015. This year to sponsor a feature lap at either event will be $75.00. As a thank you for the support Full Throttle Motor Speedway will offer each lap sponsor with 2 complimentary main grandstand passes for either event.
The 2015 OSCAAR Modified season is shaping up to be the biggest yet. With all the top teams returning to competition and 16 rookie teams registered OSCAAR race fans will want to ensure to have these two dates circled on their calendar as must see events.
OSCAAR would like to remind all race fans that Full Throttle Motor Speedway is set to start the 2015 racing season on March 21st with the running of the Sprint into Spring 200 enduro race. Fans can probably be assured a couple of modified drivers will be there trying for the first place prize of the 360 Sprint Car. Please visit
