Drivers Meeting
« on: November 21, 2007, 10:00:35 PM »
Any word on the times for the different classes yet? Its like a week and a bit before its supposed to happen. I dont see it on the website. My guess is there going to put it as the same time as sunsets to make it impossible to go to both.

with the canadian dollar worth more than the american dollar I think the fees should be slightly different then last year. The 4 cylinders had to pay $90 American last year which was $110 canadian. Now that our dollar is aeound $1.10 I think the fee should reflect the dollar value. Then the fee for 4 cylinders should be around the $82.00 Canadian range! Were getting robbed cause Nascar is only taking $90 American!

the price of registration should reflect the dollar value as everything else does in the damn economy! Who gets the extra money after the $90 american? Barrie Speedway? that's not right, then maybe they should add that money to the points fund and it make it worth while to win a Charger feature! $50 to win! What a joke! but i still had fun. lol

Hey guys just wanna put my 2 cents worth in here.  We are finally getting a positive thing here in Ontario racing.  Wasnt sure if people know that Barriespeedway has the best payouts in Ontario for points fund.  LLM $7500.00 Thunder $2000.00 Pure stock $800.00  Charger $325.00.  Never mind all the contingency awards drivers received.  Every track has its ups and downs.  Barriespeedway is one of the best tracks to race at in Ontario.

Didnt know they were to have a draw every weekend.  What do u want for free?  Tickets to go to the Daytona 500 or Bristol night race.  Come on lets be reasonable.  The track could be like half the other tracks and do nothing.  Do any other tracks give tickets to a race?  Guess stuff for free is  something for people to b*@ch about. The stickers for our car were to be put towards the Wheelen series.
