MetalCore Super Series Doublr Header Set for Saturday
Riverview, New Brunswick - This Saturday Night under the lights the Maritimes biggest and fastest stock car oval will host the finale event to crown the Metalcore Maritime Super Series champions. The double header event for Sportsman and Street Stocks with twin 75 and twin 50s respectively in each division is the result of 2 rainouts earlier in the season. A good field of cars are expected with John Ramkin of Saint John currently leading the points in the series. Mini Stocks will race a single feature for their series championship.
A good field of top Sportsman are registered including cars from throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick as well as one competitor from Newfoundland. The night will mark the end of the regular racing season at the CENTRE. Next weekend sees the beginning of the speedways Atl Speed Weeks creation which kicks off with the largest Monster Truck show ever held in the Maritimes on Sept 22nd and 23rd and runs to Oct 27th and also including the Canadian Drifting Championships (the first time ever in Atlantic Canada), annual Atlantic Stock Car Championships, and Maritime Mud Bog and ATV Challenge.
