Whats with all these delete account requests?
« on: September 30, 2005, 09:52:10 PM »
Maybe I should have stepped in earlier before all these fights and wars started here.

This board used to be fun and now it seems that a small percentage of users want to fight and name call.

This is not a flame board if you want to fight with some one here do it in a dark Alley or crash each other up on the track or fight in the pits.

We are stock car fans and not fight fans. I can understand we get into heated topics here but there is no need to keep bashing each other as we are not helping the sport we love but maybe hurting it. I was told a while ago that I should stop allowing it but I didn't listen so maybe it is me too blame.

We have a great bunch of members here but we have to stop with the bashing of each other.

I will not allow it anymore and if you don't like it no one is asking you to stay. I might be harsh but I don't want to have this carry onto the new site nascaronline.ca which we will be trying to help our fellow CASCAR drivers get sponsors by showing we support the sport and the teams.

You might not know but a lot of team sponsors do visit here and so do potential ones and we might be scaring them off. I go to the other boards and I see this same thing going on and they may allow it or don't bother to care but I do and so do a lot of members here.

We don't have a set of rules here and I don't want to start one. so please try and cool it on the bashing of each other.

Thanks

Evan

You are a frigging idiot.  What the hell are you thinking?   You say that bad mouthing people on a web site is bad for the sport yet you go and tell them to wreck eachother on the track or fight in the pits.  You are a true idiot.  Evan gets my vote for #1 idiot of the year.

Just for the record...  This thread is almost three months old.

Personally I'm just thankful that there is a mainstream message board that focuses on all levels of Canadian motor sports.

Okay DM, Evam is just trying to get this site clean and open to everyone, without having to create a big list of rules that will turn people away. If you have absolutely nothing nice to say about Evan, or anyone else on this site, than don't say it. All we want to do here is contribute to conversations, and openly discuss things, and it is people like you who ruin these sites for everybody else. Please try and keep the insults down in the future.

Seeing as how I do race a real car, that question is already answered. Racing isn't cheap, and I cannot afford to race something bigger. A Junior Late Model/JCAR is a great way to lerarn about how to race, how to setup, and how to fix a car. without jumping headfirst into a big car for someone with little experience, like myself.

Hey DM, why don't you race anything?  NASCAR drivers weren't born in the drivers seat of a Cup car.  Think about it.  Don't strain yourself thinking about it tho.

I am a sponsor of three cascar teams and two other late models south of the border, it's a good thing i dont take people like DM seriously because you can really hurt a sport with childesh tactics and it could make people like me not want to be involved in a sport that is already hard to sell!!!!  Grow up and use this site as a tool and a place to talk about racing......Have a Nice Day   southernsponsor :D
