Yes I had a good chat with the Founder of it Denny. it is something I want to be involved with and I think we can help bring more awareness to them and their cause.

Watch the video and see the smiling faces.

I am 99% sure I will be attending. I'm not sure of the schedule yet for work yet... barring that fact I will be there.

I think the choice of charity is a great one. I saw these people in action at Sunset in 2006 and I was very impressed.

I've talked to Denny numerous times. Mainly at Cayuga Speedway. Very nice man. Very admirable program. When talking to him this summer he said he was looking into expanding the program and having a race truck built. I don't know if this is still in the works or not.
At an open house at Cayuga a couple years ago Denny offered a few of us a ride in the car. He took out on the track for a number of hot laps. I was the (lucky?) one strapped in the wheelchair. While none of us taking part in the fun at the time had any handicaps (I think), it was a blast. When we pulled back into the pits, a special needs van had pulled in. When the young man in the wheel chair saw Denny's race car, his face just lit up and he was all smiles. Gives you that warm and fuzzy feeling. I think that Denny and his associates are doing a pretty cool thing here. Definitely worth supporting.

Ok now I'm a bit confused with this!!!LOL I do not have credit cards of any type. Will we still able to attend and donate on the day of the 500 directly at The Dizzy or do we have to donate prior in order to attend??? Will the CRO/DIZZY 500 shirts be on sale that day as well??? I would really love one of those, very cool idea Evan!! Kinda like getting a Super Bowl shirt that is dated, and will give us something to remember this fun day by. I'm going to look through some items I have at home to donate to the auction and will let you know what I come up with. I will be there for sure (weather providing) and if in fact Thayne desides to go to the 500 live I'm sure I can get a ride with my buddy SKIDDER as both are in my local area. Thanks to all those that have made this come to fruition for this great cause, and to Scott and the staff at The Dizzy for hosting this event, and also to all those kind folks from our close knit CRO family that have offered rides. The 2008 Sprint Car season ends this weekend as I'm sure most realize but its this event that has gotten me ultra excited for the start of the 2009 season. Look forward to seeing you all there!!!! DAVE VOKEY

You can show up the day and give a donation but as for the shirts they are made by someone else and I can bring them with me as I don't stock them they are ordered by the people that want them.

If you would like a shirt you could do a bank transfer to me and I can order the shirt and bring it for you. They also take paypal as well.

If anyone wants to order a shirt and doesn't have these let me know and I can order the shirt for you and have it shipped to you or bring it to the dizzy event. If you want a shirt of mine in the shop I can offer the same thing and have it shipped to you from the maker.

Before you order I would need to go on there and see the total price with the taxes to give you te amount to do a email bank transfer which is done by most banks in canada and it is safe as it is like a bank transfer I don't know your account infor and you don't know mine. you would go online to your bank and send it to my email and then I go to my bank from your email and it asks me where I want to deposit it. it is done by the same people that do all the bank machines certapay or something like that.

Thanks

Here at The Dizzy World Headquarters, we are working hard to come up with some fundraising ideas before the Daytona 500. On Superbowl Sunday we will have a 50/50 draw, which will go to Project Track Champion. Also on the 13th of December we will be hosting an open jam with some other bars in the neighborhood for some very talented local musicians, we will be raising money for a local women's shelter during the day and when they return that night. We will be raising money for Project Track Champion.

Cheers Scott

Well again I'm kinda confused by all this!!LOL Have any tickets been printed as of yet??? I will most def be in attendance and know of 15-20 people from the Barrie area that are planning to attend as well. If you have a set price for tickets like say 10 bucks or something I would take the lead up here in Barrie  and send you a money order for all 20 tickets and then sell them up here in the area. Maybe you can PM me the mailing addy of The Dizzy and I would make sure to send you the money order by months end SCOTT?? I will also look through stuff at home to see what I can come up with for prizes, and I believe SKIDDER was planning to do the same if that helps any. I also will try my best to arrange rides for those that dont have them in this area as I have had a few people mention to me that they have some extra room in their vehicle. Are these the sort of things you were referring to that you wanted put in place SCOTT?? 39 days eh??? I cant hardly wait both for the race and to meet some of the great folks from this site. BTW what did I tell you about counting those playoff chickens before they hatched buddy???LOL I just knew T.O and Romo would see the links at Torrey Pines before a playoff game!!!!LOL That final 4 game collapse was something out of the Buffalo Bill/Ottawa Senator mold and I take it by now you've now followed your teams lead and learned the heimlich manuver!!!!LOL
