Bill Zardo I watched  him race ACT for a long time and he won 1 race and in Supers he did good but I wouldn't say great.Just my opinion and don't get me wrong you have yours. But this is a prime example of my previous post I think he was in great equipment.

Dont forget Warren Coniam, Kenny Andrews, and Doug Styers. I could name hundreds. If anyone said that there is no talanted drivers in Canada, I would call them a lier.

Here's one to think about if I owned a car who are the top 10 weekly racers I would put in my car?

Better add guys like Steve Book then as he wins all the time, no money in enduro cars.
Coniam was the super mod driver I was thinking of.
And the list is almost all oval pavement drivers except for one or two..lol.

My top ten would include Morrow,Shaw,Brown,McCattie,Balson,Walters,Link Brown,Roblalee,Jeff Hanleyand Steve Termirsma. That just off the top of my head but would be pretty close to it if I sat down and thought about it.

Yes Kevin Dowler was a great racer to watch in the west. What about Daryl Harr or Carl Harr. Wade Lee?

Not all great drivers are in the top series. A lot of good drivers went their whole carreear in the lower classes. like Ken Mclroy, Frank davies, Harry Nickison, Bev Thring. And the future looks real bright for a lot of up and commings. like Brandon Crumbie and Billy& Ben Melinhorst. The whole thing depends on how far they want to take it. You have to give up a lot of living to make it. Its hard work that takes all your time.

What about Russ Urlin?  He's won numerous ACT races and a couple of championships, finished in the top 10 in points in ASA, he was the full time competitor in the ASA series when it was a real series back in the late 80's.

I would add a few more names to my list
Biederman
Ross (although his best years were more than 25 years ago)
Jeff Hanley
Walters
J.P Cabana
Frank Fraser
Zardo
Kevin Dowler
Jason Shaw
Russ Urlin (but not his brat son)

So what about guys like Dave McKnight, Doug Didero, Mark Sammut?  I think they are definately in the top 20.  McKnight has won numerous races in a super, he is always fast and he ran and built can am midgets as well.  Doug Didero won the Oswego classic this year in a car that was completed on the first day of qualifying and made show on second round qualifying and won the race, he is a good shoe and has performed well in the past.  Mark was great in a can am midget and is good in a super as well.
I'm sure tommy could add a few as well.

Man this is hard as I don't think anyone did. Remember he raced with the big boys at Sunset when he was 15 or 16? and they respected him. Good driver.

Did anyone mention Pete Shepherd #2 ??
