The ISMA 2008 schelude is now out and there are only two Canadian stops this year .They are:
1) Cayuga Speedway - AUG.31/08 -50 laps
2) Delaware Speedway-Sept 26/08-50 laps

anybody know what happend to the Kawartha date?
or was that just a rumor...that never was true

Update to the ISMA schelude.Do not know what has happened relations between ISMA & Oswego Speedway but on the ISMA 2008 schelude they show no races set for that track and on their date of Aug 31/08 they ISMA are running at Cayuga while on the same date the 52nd Oswego Classic is being raced at Oswego.Also on the ISMA schelude they show their Classic being Sept.5 &6 at Epping N.H. Do not know how the car field will be at Cayuga but I am sure ISMA will make sure they have a good field there.

They did the same thing a couple of years ago with Delaware, with ISMA racing Sandusky and Delaware on the same night...

Found out more info reguarding this issue looks like three tracks (Oswego Speedway,Spencer Speedway,Sandusky Speedway ) have formed a new series (MSA )Midwest Supermodified Association and will be having 6 races this year
May 4/08 -Oswego
June 6/08-Spencer Speedway
June 7/08-Oswego
June 14/08-Sandusky Speedway
Aug 29/08-Oswego Friday night of Oswego Classic Weekend
Sept.13-Sandusky
Sounds like this group was formed last year with Oswego & Sandusky and Spencer is new this year.Sounds like possible friction between Oswego and ISMA

Yikes...if any group doesn't need to be fractionalized, that's the one.
Mobil, are you sure about that Delaware/Sandusky thing 2 years ago? It'd seem to me if that was the case, then no one woulda showed up here. You sure it wasn't just on the same weekend?

I have more info on this MSA ( Midwest Supermodified Association).The 6 races posted on this subject are what they call MSA-Oswego Wing Series these races are included in the 13 race 2008 schelude.Other tracks they go to are Lorain County Speedway ( Lorain Ohio ),Toledo Speedway (Toledo Ohio ),Angolia Speedway (Angolia Indiana ).As for Oswego it looks like they are no longer affilated with ISMA as it looks like they are now in with the MSA group

One of the executive for the MSA is the track owner/promotor of Sandusky. Also I know that there has been a strain on relationships with the isma and oswego people, very few isma guys stayed and ran in the non wing event. The MSA itself has existed for a few years same cars as isma just a little lower budget.

After meeting in March extensively, all 3 groups have come together this season and are working together...good news for all...
