No problem at all but sometimes people hear that and then the next thing you know the track owner is calling me up asking me to remove stuff.

We got 1223758 hits last month. so a lot of people reading, lurking and enjoying the site and some get these crazy ideas of contacting me if they see something they don't like.

I can just imagine some of the flak you must take from disgruntled owners etc

"Hello Evan  this is Glen those are not weeds growing all around our track its rhubarb we planted so we could make pies for the consession stand I demand you take those comments off your board"   LOL

Hey this is the managment "can you guys put a lid on it,we don't want anyone sniffin round, why do ya think l get the (high) car counts? Those aint normal weeds half way up the fence its the best smoke in simcoe county.

Despite Spencer's harsh words and bitter criticism of my good self and other racing experts,he was man enough to offer us 2 complimentary passes to Sunset as a gesture of his good will plus an apology to be written on this forum stating that the fans were right and he was wrong. He knew that despite his 2 or is it 3 years in law school he could get a subpoena to halt this poll.I offered 1 complimentary pass to Pinecrest and he told me to stick it were the Sunset don't shine? So if they haven't bulldozed the place by Saturday we will be up in the tower me and my new found pal, maybe he will let me do some co-commentary whilst he does a few chores.

easily the most irrelevant and unintelligent post of the thread

congrats man

Almost everyone who remembers the Sunset of 10 or more years ago has said it has been known for some great racing, but things change... and car counts aren't everything.

Alright just going to way my opinion in on the situation.....being one of the drivers of the "Wrecking Yard Racers" I believe Pincrest likes to call them.
Sunset needs improvments and upgrades, but theres only so much you can do when you have a 3 person crew maintaining the track on a weekly basis as well as trying to fix and upgrade. I mean when you have a 2 million dollar upgrade to a speedway it damn well better look nice, and I give Barrie credit for that its nice, its clean, but at the end of the day did you come to learn about outdoor renovations and property maitnence or did you come to see the biggest car counts in Ontario and some of the best racing around.
Now Sunset had 30 thunders start the last Saturday we ran and we had good racing, or Barrie where the top 3 lapped up to 5th place I believe it was, and Sunset Thunders are being called feild fillers someone needs to rethink that.

Also just a note for those of you who werent there Thursday night and missed the interview with Darryl St.Onge after his feature win, he gave Sunset a little more than a shining recomendation, more of if he didnt have ties to Barrie, Sunset is where he would be.

So either way you all im just stating my points, just my opinion, and I know very very few will agree with me but thats what this board is all about, sharing opinions and discussing racing in Ontario not bashing one another.

No problem at all but sometimes people hear that and then the next thing you know the track owner is calling me up asking me to remove stuff.

This has happened a few times as the readership is a lot higher than people think we have over to 9000 Unique User Visits, this means  Close to 9000 different people visit this site a month and our membership is about 1102 give or take a couple hundred that don't logon anymore. so there is a lot of people that don't login and read the messages here.

We got 1223758 hits last month. so a lot of people reading, lurking and enjoying the site and some get these crazy ideas of contacting me if they see something they don't like.

I didn't see the message as a personal attack to the track owners and I felt this message may help them by hearing what their fans have to say and this could be good for them as it depends what they want to do with this information.

I hope I didn't lose anyone along the way in this message.

Please don't involve the board in your fights. People come here for news, stats,to express their opinions and just talk racing.
Sorry.   Reply:-  You are correct l apologize to the board if it seemed that way.

Think again it has been tried and since people are expressing there opinions they have lost.

Please don't involve the board in your fights. People come here for news, stats, to express their opinions and just talk racing.

I hate wasting my time with people emailing me and saying if the post/poll is not removed I will take legal actions against you. Read the terms you agreed to when you signed up.

I hope people don't take this thewrong way but it happens and just wanted to point this out.

Thanks

He knew that despite his 2 or is it 3 years in law school he could get a subpoena to halt this poll.

Ok if they put money into it and raised the price to get in a lot of people would talk about the prices are too high.

For a smaller track like that to fix it up they would have to raise gate prices and food prices.

We as raise fans have to understand we can't have the best of both.
