No, the grandstands aren't heated. As far as i know, Barrie is the only track with heated stands. The stands at Mosport are pretty big, heating them would be next to impossible.

Mosport is like Sunset, stands all on one side, but taller in height. They have some pretty nice vehicles show up for their King of the Hill too, last time I was there some guy drove a cherry '67 Mustang in KOH. I went to see the CVM there in '05.

It would be great if Mosport ran Sundays IMO...

I wound't mind seeing a track give it a go.... least 2-3 times and see how well it does work, beacuse even though it looks good on paper....it might not be as successful as you'd think

The Sunday racing would be good as some posters would like it.This year is probably to late as the season has started .But maybe somebody should contact Mosport management and suggest this. This would work for all tracks in this area.

Yearssss ago Varney ran Sunday afternoons. They had their regulars and drivers from other tracks showup. Racing started at 1 and was done by 5. Most people were home for dinner.

I think you may be forgetting that kawartha runs on friday night. I think that if mosport were to go head to head against kawartha, they would be in worse shape than they are now. The facts are that there just isn't as many race cars, or people who can afford to race, on the east side. There's three tracks, within 20 minutes of each other, and only so many cars to go around. I don't think that one track is doing a better job than the other, its just that there's not as many cars.

With car counts so low at Mosport have they thought of going oposite to Barrie and run Friday's instead of Saturday's. Just a suggestion
