Time trials for LM qualifying every week??
...
Sure hope at SUNSET they don't do time trials each week, it's waste of time and FANS really don't like it, they come to see HEATS & FEATURES ........... Also when POINTS get going sure would like to see TOP POINTS starr at back way it used to be "make em work for the win" :)

First the drivers voted in for a 28 car starting field, which will be 26 on time and 2 highest cars in points not qualified will start 27 & 28 as for the cars that aren't qualified we will have to play that day by day I think we will have to wait and see what we have first, I have looked over Reg fairly good and would guess that we will have between 27 and 30 car on a reg bases so don't think it will be a problem, time will tell.

Mark,
Just a thought with this double feature format with Time trials setting the field, if we had say 33 cars turn up weekly and say only 26 qualified to run both features. That would mean 7 cars go home without any racing. How would a new guy get any experience therefore developing the future Late Model guys.
I know having that many cars is awesome and I can't wait to see these races they will take us back to the 70's and 80's the hay day of stock car racing in Ontario the caliber of racer is probably the best anywhere, anytime.
I am curious to hear your answer, not knocking the format I know this is for our drivers can get a piece of that NASCAR money.

Cheers,
Brian Watt

We change are format last year to one heat, a dash for cash and consi we will be staying with that format again in Mighty Minis, Mini Stock and Super Stock the Late Models will be a little different.

Mark,

Since this year's car counts in each division look larger than the number of cars that start the feature, will you be using an invitational format (2 heats + last chance, feature start based on qualifying) or your regular format (2 heats, feature start based on your equation)?
